Baked Fresh, Then Left Here

There was some excitement generated when McDonald's announced they'd be adding fresh baked cookies to their menu. I've always been a sucker for a good cookie. Too bad these aren't good. These taste like the cookies your crazy Aunt Mable bakes using apple sauce instead of butter. These cookies are like the ones on a pot luck dessert table that no one eats, and by the end of the dinner you feel bad for whoever made them because they were the least popular dessert. And these cookies didn't taste "fresh" either. You notice they aren't "freshly" baked, but rather "fresh" baked. Kind of like Wal-Mart donuts, huh Will? McDonald's cookies come in chocolate chip and oatmeal. I won't be trying the oatmeal.

Recommendation: Avoid

We don't have those cookies out here I don't believe. Perhaps you guys are a test market? There are cookies but they aren't touted as fresh or even baked - they may well be fried?

They are touting their sweet iced and I downed a large today.

this reminds me of their cinnamon buns, which seemed like a good idea until you put one in your mouth. i wish they would get a clue and just buy out krispy kreme and tack that onto the side of the building. there is no mcdonalds meal that could not be enhanced by a delicious donut. or 2.
