Hooters Hot Sauce

I decided to mix up the the pizza routine and make a buffalo chicken pie. For this recipe, you just use buffalo wing sauce instead of pizza sauce, and then add chicken as your primary topping. I had been advised to use Hooters sauce because it is thicker than most other buffalo sauces, and therefore works well as a pizza sauce. We checked out a number of sauces at the grocery store, and sure enough, the Hooters was the thickest. Upon inspection of the ingredients, we found out why. It's because the number one ingredient in Hooters sauce is...butter. The resulting pizza pie was tasty, though perhaps not so healthy.

i can't quite see the fat content on the label? i also note there is a little milk involved in the sauce. another option would be to pour it over ice into your new wedding blender and have a hooters spicy bbq milkshake!

I have been researching hot wings for a few years and haven't found a sauce, homemade or not, that I liked better than Kroger's Buffalo Wing Sauce. I have served my wings to a number of people, and nobody but me has liked them. Everybody says they are too hot. C'est la vie.
