Jack has received numerous stuffed animal gifts that could be suitable candidates: bears, penguins, bunnies, giraffes,... you name it... Among all of these, he has chosen a stuffed weasel to be his best friend and crib partner. Perhaps the only kid to have a weasel for a best "stuffed" friend.
He comes by this through his mother - who's preference was simply for a plain blanket which she named of Reddie (guess the color of the blanket!) which she eventually sewed pockets onto.

Erin and I had a good feeling about that weasel the moment we saw it in the store! We're glad Jack loves it!
There may be a connection between this and Jack's uncle, referred to for years by his brother as, you guessed it: The Weasel!
