Mathematics, Gender, and Culture

After taking this course the student will be able to:
* Critically evaluate eurocentrism in mathematics
* Give examples of the historical role of women and people of color in mathematics
* Critically evaluate research on the relationship of gender and culter to mathematics and mathematics education.
