Jack's First Love Note!

Jack received his first "love note" earlier this Fall from his friend Molly in kindergarten class.   So far he's doing fine in school and is kept relatively busy with homework and "reading".

Introducing the jPad

Jack was the "student of the week" in his class last week. This requires more work for parents than it does of kids and on Friday he was tasked with bringing a poster to school to hang up.

We decided to design this poster after the world's most popular tablet device.

Jack's First "Great" on a Homework

Jack scored his first great on a school homework project. His does much better on the coloring projects with pencils vs. crayons. Math is likely to be his calling though!

They recently did dress up pictures at school and we liked the way all of Jack's came out. He dressed as a cowboy, a naval officer and a BMX racer.

Jack's first class picture has arrived!



They still struggled with getting the boy to smile...but he doesn't look quite as "mobster" as his last picture.

Jack - A School Glimpse

Here are a few pictures of Jack that his teachers took at school. He isn't the greatest of sleepers there they say because he wants to make sure he isn't left out of any action. They try to wrap him like a burrito in his blanket and think that helps him sleep.






Here's a snap of him enjoying a muffin top - look closely and you can see the other kids in the background sleeping.


We recently had a playdate for Jack with one of his best friends from school - Jacob. They had a blast together.
