Jack's Cloud City in Legos
Jack declared he'd like to have the Lego Cloud City (featured in The Empire Strikes Back). Cloud City is one of the most rare and expensive Lego sets because they made it 10 years ago...so the going rate on eBay for a complete set is upwards of $1000!!! Yes - for a bunch of plastic.

Elle Loves Target!

Jack Earned His Driver's License at Legoland!
The real driving race cars were a big hit. Jack rode twice and greatly improved in round 2. Here is round 1!
And of course, they give you a little paper license at the end...but allow you to be a $7 version that is a bit fancier. Which we did of course :)

Chick-Fil-A Royalty
We went to the Chick-Fil-A Prince/Princess night. Poor Elle is still deathly afraid of the cow mascot - even when she's a princess! Jack didn't mind at all though!
We mainly went to give Elle a chance to use one of her princess costumes and she loved it...so long as the cow at least 10 feet away from her at all times...

Folsom's New Decorative Garbage Trucks
Folsom is beginning to get garbage trucks with custom paint jobs. They are pretty cool. Too bad Jack is a bit past his garbage truck frenzy! Though Elle has a nice appreciate for them as well!

Are There Coasters at Legoland?
This is their "big daddy" and it isn't one that I'd want to get on. Jack and Mom did twice. This is the second time and you can see the fear in poor Jack's face on the big drop. Afterwards he declared "No more" The dude behind them was having a good time.

We went to the beach the afternoon we arrived and walked arround looking for shells and getting wet (at least the boys did). Elle was generally kind of scared of the beach though a few days later she wanted to go back. As an aside, it was the same way on the elevator at the hotel... the first few rides terrorized her and Mom had to hold her. Then she began standing and declaring "This is fun".
While the weather wasn't perfect..think cold (for Southern California with some rain) it kept the people away. We got to ride whatever we wanted with zero lines. In one instance Jack went around aroller coaster 6 times in a row! Here Jack is super excited before we go in...and then planning our route.
Just after lunch Elle and I had a great little mini-session above mini-land. She was rejuvinated and in great spirits.
An encounter with Darth Maul (made from legos) had Jack and Elle on the run!
