After three flights and many hours we finally made it to Curitiba, Brazil. Curitiba is one of the largest cities I'd never heard of. With over 3 million people and an expansive skyline it is pretty impressive. It also appears to be way more under control than Sao Paulo or Rio De Janeiro. I went for a walk and parts of it looked like LA...there are definitely some "third world" areas as well.
Here's what the skyline looks like...
Beef seems to be one of the stapes here. Tonight we ate dinner at a buffet where they basically bring around steak and slice small slabs onto your plate...over and over and over again. It was very good.

I will say that if Brazil is going to do a good job hosting the World Cup and then the Olympic Games they have a lot of work to do with their infrastructure...and little time. So far so good on the visit though I'm exhausted.
