This was my favorite of the post-game articles... As they state, the 49-34 score wasn't nearly that close considering 7 points came on the fluke Hail Mary at the end of the first half and a huge missed call fumble in the first half led to 3 points for MSU instead of probably 7 more for GT.
All in all - a super enjoyable win after going 1-8 over the past 9 bowl games!

1940 Orange Bowl: GT 21 - Missouri 7
The game is vastly different than it is today! Mizzou scores first but GT's trickery denies the Tigers their first bowl victory ever.

Christmas Morning Video!
Here is the long-awaited video! We've taken a Kringle / Omelet break before round two!
Santa Arrives in CA!
Santa has once again made it to California!
Highlights of the stockings are as follows:
Elle scored a karaoke machine with and sing-along frozen CD and a microphone along with a camera.
Jack scored a Kindle Fire Tablet (sadly without Intel inside) and an array of Shrinky Dinks!
More updates and pics later!

Jack and Elle Meet Santa!
Elle finally mustered up the courage to sit in Santa's lap. This year she's asking for a camera, a wallet, and a puppy among other things. Jack doesn't really seem to have that specific of an ask this time which makes sense. The boy has all he needs!

Conference Bowl Pay-outs!
I thought this graphic was especially interesting. There's certainly a bit of money involved in college football!

Folsom Bulldog Football
Jack and I went to one of the Folsom Bulldogs recent play-off games. The basically destroy almost every team they play with a solid defense and a spread offense that most team are unable to stop. They won this game 56-14. Depending on which poll you look at they are typically ranked in the top 10 nationally. Unfortunately for them, another team they often face in the state final, De La Salle is ranked a couple notches ahead of them and has never lost to Folsom.
They also happen to play on a blue field!

Shipping Reminder - Pay the Premium!
Thinking about shipping something this season. Here's a reminder to avoid the general United States Post Office Service....
Talk about inefficiency... along with a total fail.... pay the premium and go FedEx or UPS....

New Family Pictures
We went to a not so new place for our pictures this year. The historic Folsom Powerhouse. You might recognize it because we've been there for pictures in the past as well. It is a cool place, just down the river from the famous Folsom Prison.

GT - ACC Coastal Division Champions!
Tech wins the ACC Coastal Division outright and earns the right to play Florida State in a few weeks. Just have they play Georgia. Ironically, this could mean the are no longer the favorite to go to the Orange Bowl but it is worth it I think...

A Lamp Only Bill and Erin Could Love!
Saw this post-modern duck lamp recently and immediately thought of Bill and Erin! Perhaps Bill's birthday and this lamp would pair nicely!

Jack in his soccer uniform seemingly try to stick his tongue in the scarecrow's ear!
Dad, in particular, might want to score this on November 1 for Jake!

The Miata Arrives in Folsom
It actually arrived a few weeks back but here's the evidence!
The kids love to ride in it as do we. It is a real treat for the kids as we don't let them in it too much except for little trips to the store.

Toothless Volume 1
Jack lost his 3rd tooth a few days ago and it was a big one! One of his front teeth. This is volume 1 because his other front tooth fell out today. Picture to come.

Gin Blossoms Cover Folsom Prison Blues!
One of the advantages of living in Folsom is getting to attend concerts 3 minutes away. Another advantage is artists playing in Folsom have often have an urge to cover Johnny Cash's Folsom Prison Blues. Tonight it was the Gin Blossoms.

Tech Admission Notes - 2014
Tech’s freshman class is, according to the school, the highest achieving and most diverse in school history. It was the first class for which Tech accepted what is known as the Common Application, which caused a 46 percent increase in applications. The school admitted 33 percent (8,560), and 2,800 enrolled. (The school’s admission rate in 2012 was 55 percent and 41 percent last year.)
The average SAT score of incoming students improved to 2134 and 94 percent of freshmen have taken at least AP Calculus or an equivalent course. The class is 51 percent Caucasian, 28 percent Asian, 7 percent Hispanic, 6 percent African-American and 4 percent multi-racial. The class is 61 percent male and 39 percent female. The students come from 47 states, 63 countries and 87 Georgia counties (out of 159).

Today was our annual trip to the pumpkin patch... this year they had two new activities. A carousel and a zipline!
Jack tried out the latter.
